A tapered bushing, also identified as a tapered lock bushing, is a tapered, non-flanged, break up bushing whose tapered sleeve is possibly screwed or tightened with a socket head cap screw and squeezed onto the shaft so that It is mounted on the shaft. Guards a wide assortment of pulleys, sprockets, flanged hubs, and couplings. These bushings are employed in pulleys and sprockets to boost clamping power, even though common bore products lock on to the shaft only with a keyway and established screw. All bushings supplied by EP are separately manufactured of higher-top quality material and boxed grub screws.
